At The Exquisite Travel, we understand that even the most meticulously crafted plans can be affected by unexpected circumstances, such as weather or illness. Our dedicated UK team and global in-resort partners are always on standby to support you.
Yes. Travel insurance is essential. High-quality coverage is a vital part of any luxury holiday booking. We strongly recommend securing a policy that covers your specific activities at the same time you confirm your booking.
Absolutely. We take full responsibility for ensuring rigorous security measures are in place to protect your data. By booking with us, you consent to the necessary disclosure of information to our trusted third-party partners (hotels, airlines, etc.) to ensure your journey is processed seamlessly.
Please share your seating preferences with your Travel Consultant during the booking process. While we do our utmost to meet every request, airlines cannot offer a 100% guarantee.
Note: Bulkhead seats are often reserved for those with infants (sky cots). Exit row seats are allocated at check-in only to passengers over 16 who are physically fit.
Extra legroom (exit or bulkhead) is typically assigned on the day of departure by airport staff. We recommend checking in 3 hours prior to departure to increase your chances of securing these seats.
We are happy to coordinate dietary requirements with your airline. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice before departure. You can mention these needs to your Consultant during booking or contact our Concierge team after your invoice is issued.
Non-stop: Flies from A to B without touching the ground.
Direct: The aircraft does not change, but it may land briefly for refueling or to let passengers on/off. We will always provide your specific routing details in your itinerary.
Allowances vary by airline and class. As a general guide:
Economy/Premium: 20 kg
Business Class: 30 kg
First Class: 40 kg
Some airlines use a “piece system” instead; your consultant will confirm your specific allowance.
The Exquisite Travel will handle this for you. Simply notify us of the delay, and we will rearrange your transport and update the hotel to ensure your room is ready for your arrival.
Yes. Your dedicated concierge will be happy to arrange additional nights. Payment and rates are handled on a case-by-case basis—some partners offer special “resident rates” payable directly, while others are handled through our exclusive contracted rates and settled with us before departure.
If your flight arrives early in the morning or leaves late at night, we often recommend booking the “previous night” or “following night” to guarantee immediate access to your room. Your Consultant will advise if this is recommended for your specific destination.
Always book in the name exactly as it appears on your passport. In most cases, this is your maiden name. Changing names on travel documents mid-trip can be complicated and costly.
We will do our best to accommodate changes (like name corrections). Please submit requests in writing. An administration fee of £35 plus any supplier costs will apply. Note that some restricted fares may incur up to a 100% cancellation charge.
Certainly. To make a celebration extra special, we can arrange wine, flowers, or chocolates for your arrival. If your hotel is one of our Preferred Partners, you may receive special amenities as a standard benefit.
Most countries require at least 6 months of validity remaining on your passport and 2-3 blank pages.
Children: All children (including newborns) must have their own individual passports.
Visas: We can assist in arranging visas for you and your family. Please allow plenty of time for processing.
Health requirements change constantly. We strongly recommend consulting your GP or a specialist travel clinic well in advance. For EU travel, ensure you carry a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) in addition to your private insurance.
